1. Introduction

TLC Driver Vault ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application designed to help TLC-licensed drivers organize their vehicle documents, track business mileage, and access auto refinancing services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our app.

By using TLC Driver Vault, you agree to the practices described in this policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use this app.

2. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.

b. Vehicle Information

We collect details about your vehicles that you choose to enter, including make, model, year, license plate, and VIN.

c. Documents You Upload

You may upload documents such as vehicle registration, insurance cards, TLC licenses, and inspection records. These files are stored securely on your account.

d. Location Data

With your permission, we collect GPS location data in the background to automatically detect and log your business trips for mileage tracking purposes. You can disable background location access at any time in your device settings. If you disable location access, you can still log trips manually.

e. Refinance Application Data

If you choose to apply for auto refinancing through the app, we collect the information you submit in the application, which may include your current loan details, income information, and vehicle payoff information. This data is transmitted to our dealership partner to process your application. TLC Driver Vault does not pull your credit — any credit inquiry is initiated solely by the dealership or their lending partners.

f. Payment Information

All subscription and in-app purchase payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details directly. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.

g. Device Information and Push Notification Tokens

We collect your device's push notification token to send you reminders about document expirations, refinance application status, and other account notifications. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings under Notifications > TLC Driver Vault.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

- Provide, operate, and maintain the TLC Driver Vault app

- Store and organize your vehicle documents

- Detect and log business trips using location data

- Generate mileage reports for tax deduction purposes

- Transmit your refinance application to our dealership partner

- Deliver loan documents and contracts from our dealership partner to your account

- Manage your subscription and in-app purchases

- Respond to your support requests

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

a. Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

- Supabase: database storage and file storage (your documents and account data)

- RevenueCat: subscription and in-app purchase management

- Apple / Google: payment processing

b. Dealership Partner

If you submit a refinance application, the information you provide in that application is shared with our dealership partner for the purpose of processing your auto refinance request. By submitting a refinance application, you consent to this sharing. Your information may be further shared with the dealership's lending partners as part of that process. TLC Driver Vault does not make lending decisions and is not a lender. TLC Driver Vault does not pull your credit.

c. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

5. Auto Refinancing Service

The auto refinancing feature connects TLC drivers with our dealership partner. Please understand:

- TLC Driver Vault is not a lender, mortgage broker, credit services organization, or financial advisor.

- Your application is submitted to a licensed auto dealership who works with their banking partners.

- TLC Driver Vault does not pull your credit. Credit inquiries are initiated solely by the dealership or their lending partners.

- Approval is not guaranteed and is determined entirely by the dealership and their lenders.

- You should consult a licensed attorney before entering into any refinancing agreement.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

TLC Driver Vault offers the following paid features:

Monthly Subscription ($4.99/month): Full access to the document vault, vehicle management, and mileage tracking. Includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Pro Unlock ($49.99 one-time): Expands your active vehicle limit from 1 to 2 vehicles. The ability to submit auto refinance applications is included with this purchase at no additional charge. This fee is for expanded vehicle management functionality only and is not a fee for obtaining credit.

Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future billing but does not provide a refund for the current billing period.

7. Location Data — Additional Details

We collect location data in the background only when you have granted "Always" location permission. This data is used solely to detect when you start and end a business trip and to calculate mileage. We do not share your location data with advertisers or any third parties other than Supabase, which stores it as part of your trip records.

You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings under Privacy > Location Services > TLC Driver Vault.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data and documents for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Trip records and mileage logs are retained for the current and prior tax year to support your tax filing needs.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure cloud storage through Supabase. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. Children's Privacy

TLC Driver Vault is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

- Access the personal information we hold about you

- Request correction of inaccurate information

- Request deletion of your account and associated data

- Withdraw consent for background location tracking at any time

- Disable push notifications at any time through your device settings

- Opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first using the app by emailing support@tlcdrivervault.com

12. California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
